06 - Per la via Nicolau

The tunnel on the Via del Nicolau is temporarily closed due to a landslide.

As an alternative, you can take the Baronia de Pinós – El Camí de la Vinya Vella route, which follows the Via del Nicolau between Bagà and Guardiola de Berguedà. By bicycle, the route includes some sections of moderate difficulty.

This proposal that begins in the town of Bagà reminds us, with a small dose of imagination, in the Middle Ages in various places on the route; in the era of the Good Men and the Good Women.

We will see from medieval castles to Romanesque monasteries; we will discover from legends of feudal lords like that of Galzeran de Pinós to small Romanesque chapels between mountains.

But if it is a game especially designed for boys and girls who want to enjoy a fun `` adventure '', it is because it also has a lot of unique attractions. A train truck loaded with logs, an amazing suspension bridge, breathtaking cliffs ... this extraordinary route offers a lot of attractions that no child should miss. They are 13.58 km and 310 m. of total unevenness, but pure fun.
