Water is an element present in the Berguedà geography. The river Llobregat is born and crosses the region from north to south, collecting water from the valleys and mountains with all its tributaries.
Although the topography of this river does not allow the practice of many water activities, that radically changes when it reaches the Baells reservoir where such activities are rampant: rowing, canoeing, wakeboarding, water skiing, swimming ...
Baells has first via brava interior of Catalonia, an area of 1000 meters, perfectly signposted for the training of swimming in open water.
This offer is complemented with some equipped ravines: Forat Negre in Vallcebre, Escalell in Castell de l'Areny-Vilada or the possibility of water trekking thru several rivers in the region.
